My creativity rollercoaster continued to chug along, lending to the feeling that the 35mm film canister was wasting away and would never be filled. Looking back, I almost feel embarrassed by how long it took me to finish that one roll. But now the roll is done, the frames scanned and printed, and the urge to take more photographs has been sparked. Because there is nothing like the excitement of looking through photographs whose development were steeped in uncertainty.
These are the shots that instantly captured my eye and heart:
31/36 that’s how many frames were printed from my first roll. As expected there were a handful of frames that didn’t come out as expected, mainly shots being out of focus or under exposed. Overall, I’d label this roll a success.
The adventures continue as I begin to cross-reference my notes with the frames that went awry. With the breakdown coming next. Thanks for tuning in 🙂

I love the “home lighting” shot, it’s one of my favorites that you’ve shared here!

These photos are incredible let alone for a first roll of film! I hope you are so proud of yourself. I look forward to seeing more film photos (and the embroidery of them) as you progress! Thank you so much for sharing Erica.
